mission #8. newton fc.

continuing our missions, mission #8 was accomplished with many people AWOL though. now that some from the band are going away for more specialised training, this mission was rather memoriable, along with all the char kuay tiao, chai tao kui, stingray, hokkien mee, satay etc. mmm.. poor guys in command school :P hahhahaha.

Essay Outline: Describe your dinner experience.

Level: Primary 2

Today the boys met up for dinner at Modesto's.
It was at orchard.
The food was ok, while the serving is as modest as its name suggests.
The pizza was large but thin, with little toppings.
Yet strangely, it was enough to filled our stomach.
We drank plain water too.
Colin commented that the previous entry was filled with grammatical errors.
David, Colin and Sam got more $$, so they ordered something else which i cannot remember.
We talked and laughed.
Took bus to cineleisure wanting to play xbox, but walked to youth park to play card games.
As midnight approaches, we decide to go home and sleep.
And we live happily ever after??

PAI SEH!

The editorial team wish to apologise for the long info given on 12th june 2007. This cockster editorial team mentioned that one of our member, Mr Kusal De Silva, a Singaporean, still has a long long way to go in NS. However, this found to be sa- lah (hokkien for untrue). Our intelligence network has gathered firm and hard info that Mr Kusal De Silva, a Singaporean, has passed out on 11th june 2007. We apologised for any inkonvenience kaused.

In another related announcement, we kongratulate Ah Lew from passing out too.

P.S Frens and Families of the 2 person mentioned need not worri. Health experts said that their life is in no danger after passing out. They added that such passing out occurs frequently in Singapore when guys complete their BMT and couldnt stand the shock of having to leave Tekong.

The Band of Runners Editorial team wishes them good health and speedy recovery!

my two cents worth as well! dont forget to keep scrolling down for egg-hims report. well POP was a nice feeling! whoohoo! those 9 weeks in BMT were sure strenous and challenging, but it marks the beginning of something even tougher at out next level of training.

thanks to ee ghim for taking leave from his busy schedule to come down and all the parents who were there. sigh, too bad my motivation wasn't present :(

haha anyway im sure it was memorable for the 4 of us... more pictures to enjoy..

12th June 2007 POP

It has been awhile since this blog is updated. Thousands of apologies for those that drops by weekly or once a while to check whether if this blog is updated! Please do continue to show your support by coming once awhile to check for updates on latest information on us and our friends!

Today marks the day for 4 of our squad mates transforming from Boys to Men as they successfully pass out from BMT at tekong. i was there to witness the proud moment when one of our squad mate, REC SAMUEL LEE KHONG SHENG went up the stage to received the Orion Coy Best Award, an award that is given to the best cadet in the whole company. Special mention goes to REC TUNG ZHI SHING COLIN who emerged as Scorpion Company platoon's 1 best cadet! Last but not least, a BIG HUG and congratulations for REC DAVID NG QING KAI AND REC TIMOTHY SOH ZHEN YANG for completing the BMT safe and sound! Well done boys!

On the other hand, our donkey LEON WAI emerged as Company Best for his Basic Section Leaders Course in SISPEC. Congrats to him too! He will be heading to Signals and complete this rest of NS there!
